Membership in Oakland Indie Alliance is free to locally owned and independent business owners. To become a member you must meet the following criteria:
- Are independent and not a franchise
- Have an current business license in Oakland
- Have a lease or own your place of business
- Live in the greater Bay Area
- Be actively involved in the management of your business
