OIA is a fiscally sponsored and independently run organization. We support our small business community with direct aid, advocacy, marketing and network building. Our membership is free to small business owners in order to keep our group inclusive and accessible and we are also funded through donations from our community.

Covid Recovery Fund
Our Keep it Caring fund is giving $5K grants to our local independent small businesses to help them survive COVID impacts (distribution priority given to BIPOC owned businesses).
Repair Fund

Build Parklets
For many small businesses, parklets have been a lifeline keeping them afloat, but building them can be expensive. We’re looking for labor, monetary, & material contributions.
Volunteer
Lend a Hand
Ready to lend a helping hand? Get on our volunteer list and help out with painting boarded up storefronts, assembling parklets, managing Keep it Oakland merch, and more (no experience necessary). We can use your helping hands!
